Impact and Financials
Our Prevention Program and our Survivor Support initiatives measure impact differently.
Prevention Program Impact
A key aspect of Everstrong’s theory of change is that media-fed sensationalism and mystery surrounding sex trafficking creates a feeling of helplessness among communities. This helplessness leads to inaction. Inaction allows trafficking to thrive.
Our prevention programs turn that helplessness into action. By demystifying the root causes of trafficking and offering tangible, practical solutions, education empowers communities to respond with confidence and courage.
One of the most critical measures of our impact is access:
- Are our materials reaching the right people?
- Are they being used?
- Are they simple, relevant, and effective in real classrooms and communities?
Launched in November 2025 in a planned multi-year pilot, the Prevention Portal has grown quickly into an active, multi-state resource for educators, parents, counselors, and youth-serving adults working to prevent sex trafficking.
As of March 2026:
- 16,758 youth potentially reached — a 25% increase since January
- 19 states represented — 27% geographic growth in Q1
- 45 communities across 19 counties represented in Washington State
- 28% increase in active users (January–March)
- 280+ material downloads, reflecting active use well beyond initial sign-up
Educators and facilitators consistently report that the platform is easy to navigate and the materials are practical to implement. Cross-sector adoption — spanning schools, community organizations, and families — confirms the Portal is meeting a demonstrated need.
While we’re encouraged to see schools and organizations across the country finding and using these resources, our focus for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027 is to deepen adoption right here in Washington state. If your school or district is interested in focused implementation support, we’d love to hear from you.

Grants for Survivors Impact
For our grants to create lasting change, they must be accessible, flexible, and consistent. Survivors’ needs are diverse and urgent, and our funding model is designed to meet them where they are.
We track utilization of our Grants to Survivors Program to ensure funds are not only available, but truly reaching those who need them most. Our priorities are simple yet profound:
- That survivors know this support exists.
- That they feel seen, valued, and cared for by their wider community.
By measuring utilization and total grants awarded, we gather meaningful data on how these resources strengthen the broader movement to uplift and stabilize those most impacted by violence. We also aggregate demographic data to ensure equity—so that those disproportionately affected by trafficking and exploitation are not left behind.
Behind every data point is a life given more stability, more dignity, and more possibility.
